She has served in many capacities including the personal committee president of the safeway credit union board from 2003 until amalgamation with civic as vice president of civic credit union from the civic safeway amalgamation to the crosstown civic amalgamation. Ellie became a member of the credit union in 1971 and joined the board in 2000.
